For the doctor to leave a client during examination of his or her animal to answer phone calls would be unfair to the client. The office personnel have been trained to ask and answer most questions. Please cooperate with them. If they are unable to answer your questions, the doctor may relay information through them, or we will give you an approximate time when you may expect a return call. Please keep your line open as much as possible during that time.
Please remember that many diseases have similar symptoms. As a rule only an actual examination, sometimes supported by diagnostic testing will provide the proper diagnosis. It is rarely possible to treat an animal over the phone. For your protection, and because federal law prohibits it, no prescriptions will be filled unless preceded with an evaluation by the doctor.
